South Pacific Pools quality assurance and administration manager Geoff Penley has 40 years of experience in commercial construction management working with SPP’s site team and consultants to ensure the specified quality requirements are met. SPP realises a responsibility to not only deliver each commercial pool installation but also to engage with the stakeholders to ensure that the training and handover requirements are well communicated and managed for the successful ongoing operation of the facility.

The SPP team prides itself on their ability to work with valued clients, architects and engineers to value add if required during the design and documentation phase of each aquatic facility.

SPP fosters a collaborative working relationship with the staff, members of the public and other stakeholders to ensure these aquatic redevelopments are delivered under a tight time frame whilst within a fully functional operational facility.

SPP’S reputation as the commercial pool and aquatic builder of choice for over 40 years has constructed over 46 major commercial projects throughout Australia.

Examples of SPP’s aquatic projects include Sky City Casino Darwin spillway pool, Parks Community Centre Pools, the 50 m Unley Pool , Abergeldie Community Pool and three others for State Swim, the Port Pirie Community Pool, St Peter’s College major pool renovation, Carmelite hydrotherapy pool and the CHG Hydrotherapy Pool on Henley Beach Road.

QUALITY WITHOUT COMPROMISE

SPP achieved special recognition from the Australian Institute of Building for the construction of the Next generation Sports Centres internal and external pools such as the Campbelltown Swimming Centre (ARC) community pools which required a high level of collaboration, quality, and safety management.

All SPP’s commercial projects are sprayed with 40mpa concrete (shotcrete) with the highest level of success. South Pacific Pools also work hand in hand with Astral Pool, manufacturers of the highly regarded Skypool modular prefabricated stainless steel panel pool system. Skypools are durable, reliable, cost-effective and require significantly less construction time to their conventional counterpart.
